He didn't frown, he didn't smile, he didn't really show any emotion when he heard Kee's answer. Now it made him slightly worried that what if he didn't like him if he told the other male that he was in fact rooming with a bisexual. He didn't really let it bother him, watching as Vincent fell off the bed and began to go crazy, running around the room. It didn't surprise him until the cat jumped and climbed the wall but got stuck when he reached the top of the door's boarder. Dakota jumped up out of his bed and got to Vincent as he grabbed him. You dumb shit. I told you not to climb the door. He pulled him off and placed his back on the ground as he sprinted away and jumped all over the desk and dresser. Dakota hated when Vincent got like this.
He chased the cat, Vincent hiding and running out, bouncing at him as he then ran another direction. Dakota was ablet o grab him once he got on his knees and completely cover the kitten, his shirt bottom at his shoulders as he laughed at the kitten. You are a little shit you know that Vinny? He sat up and picked him up, throwing him gently on the bed as Vincent then proceeded to attack and play with Styx. He got up and took a seat at his desk, turning the laptop to himself. He heard his question and shrugged.
Dakota had only taken his meds maybe once or twice since he was diagnosed. ..Because I read...or I write...and I have Vincent's company. I think that if I can keep myself calm by the things I like then I wont need them.. It had worked so far, but a few times it would come out with his outburst and sometimes his random snaps. Even his memories when something reminded him of his past would make him slightly snap.

Kee had fished his keys out of his pocket, and was holding them in front of Solo. The jangling sound had caught her attention, and now she was engaged in trying to bat them with her tiny paws. When he raised them too hisg for her to reach, she stood on her back legs, and waved both of her front paws in the air in a futile attempt to get at the shiny toy. Kee laughed, and as she was standing on his chest, she lost her balance and fell over into a heap of ginger fur.
To apologise, he scratched her behind the ears, starting off a purr that was almost as loud as his bike. He turned his head to watch the antics of Vinny and Dakota. He shrugged at the other boy's answer. He'd had an aunt who had been bi-polar. She had taken meds for a while, but then got off them. She'd stepped in front of a train when Kee had been ten years old. He didn't say anything about her to Dakota, not wanting to seem pushiy or holier than thou.
He drew on his cigarette again, nearly finishing the cancer stick. "So," he asked, grinning devilishly. "What do you do that passes for fun in this town?"

Dakota turned when Kee asked the question. He wasn't an 'outgoing' person. So he found himself blushing at the question. Turning back and shrugged and didn't speak. He typed a few sentences on an email to Jared when his phone began to vibrate again. He reached down and picked it up, seeing his counselor yet again. He groaned and turned to Kee. I need to take this..hang tight.. He answered the phone right there. The muffled worried voice of another male filled the other end as Dakota held it away from his ear for a moment. ..I haven't been in the mood to talk... He repsonded after the voice on the other end had stopped his rant. Dakota rolled his eyes and let his elbow rest on the desk as he held his head in his hand. ..There's nothing to talk about..I'm fine...no I ha-... He looked iritated. Yes sir he responded through gritted teeth. His eyes closed as he looked highly annoyed, running his fingers through his hair and over his face.
The conversation only lasted about ten minutes before Dakota muttered his goodbye and threw the phone into the stack of pillows on his bed.Not going! He seemed to exclaim at the phone, forgetting for a moment that Kee was right there. He turned his eyes to look at him and blushed again. ..My counselor.... He said, not wanting to hear questions on who it was. He tried to recollect his thoughts and remembered what Kee had asked. I'm not much of..an outgoing person..but thre is club a few blocks down..that's really the only fun...mostly it's..just drugs. Dakota never liked drugs, or booze.

As Dakota took his phonecall, Kee took to staring at the ceiling as he finished his cigarette. He missed his little brother already, and ws hoping that Al was missing him too. The two were close until their parents had sent Kee away, and he'd already received a letter. The first morning he had been staying at his uncle's, Kee' had come sown to breakfast to find an envelope with his name on it. Telling Kee to keep his chin up and stay out of trouble.
He nodded to Dakota when the other boy told him who had been on the phone. He wouldn't have pried, but he appreciated being told all the same. His nose wrinkled when drugs were mentioned. He had never even tried any. A friend had once offered him a joint, which he'd passed. "I'll smoke, I'll drink, but anything stronger than nicotine or alcohol I 'Just Say No'" He grinned.

Dakota chuckled and sat back down, pushing his phone off the bed and letting it fall down to the ground. He curled on his bed and grabbed a few pillows, hugging them as he shoved his face into the fabric. Letting out a sigh he looked up at Kee when he said his own statement and just groaned. ..Never drank in my life...or smoked for that matter...Pretty much...'plain' He brought his hands up, using quotations as he said 'Plain'. He thought himself as plain at least. He didn't really do anything exciting.
Dakota's day consist of him trying to keep control of himself, drawing, writing, reading or anything to just keep his state of mind cleared. ..Then again I never really had..a partner in crime as they call it.. What was true in it's own way. Dakota never had anyone to really party with, and now, he was slightly hoping that Kee would change that, give him a reason to over step the boundaries he's always been in. He smiled a little and moved to laying on his back as he felt Vincent jump up and curl between his legs. He continued to hold a pillow across his chest.
