Jackson wandered into the auditorium after class with all his books. No one ever came in here unless there was something going on and they had to be here. It seemed to be a lot quieter than the library. Pulling out a couple books from his bag he looked over the work. Anna's math. Laughing quietly to himself he pulled out his iPod and stuck the earbuds into his ears as he turned it on. Looking through his songs, he finally decided on one to start out on. He turned back to the math book on his lap and read the first problem. 'Figures she gives up after the first problem.' Jackson snorted a laugh. Anna only did the work if she knew how to do it. If she didn't, she handed it to him. He didn't care. Him and his sister did it all the time. If he didn't understand one class assignment, Anna did it for him and vise versa.
He sat quietly, humming to the music and started the work, completely oblivious to anything and everything around him. After doing a few problems, he realized that he didn't know how far to go. He pulled out his phone and texted Anna to find out. Reading his reply, he grinned. 'All done then,' he thought shoving the paper into her book and then putting it back into his bag. He grabbed his drawing pad and the pencil he used for it and glanced around the auditorium. Not finding much that he could sketch, he just doodled. As he did, it soon became a picture of his favorite place when he was little. He held the pad out in front of him and smiled slightly at the forest he'd just drawn. Putting it back down, he added more detail to it. He brushed his hair out of his face and scooted down into the chair, propping his legs up on the chair in front of him. artist's attire: whoot.music: Bodies - Drowning Pool counting: 322

Lacey walked across campus on her own, glancing behind her to be sure she wasn't being pursued by a certain undesirable boyfriend. She thought maybe he was starting to get the idea now that they were through. She smiled at the thought and a new spring came into her step. She was headed to the theater. Only because she was running a quick errand for one of her real friends. She pulled open the door and stepped into the air conditioned room. She had her cell out, texting, and she walked into the auditorium. She froze, sensing someone else, thinking it was going to be someone that shouldn't see her here. She could kiss her reputation good-bye then. But it was Jackson. She smiled in relief, then slid back out the door, heading for the corridors that lead to the wings.
Lace was dressed in a summer outfit (left) that still maintained her normal, high-fashion style. Her brown hair was left wavy and flowed effortless, as usual. Flawless make-up enhanced her features without being noticeable. He put her phone in her small purse, and stepped into the wings. She was grateful that for the first time in ages she was wearing flats, so they didn't click. She walked up behind Jackson and reached over to pull out his earphones. "Hey handsome," she teased. She'd known Jackson long enough to feel secure in calling him 'handsome' or some such term of endearment without him taking it the wrong way. He was younger that Lace. Not her style at all. Besides, her attention was elsewhere in the world of romance.
She ruffled his hair, just to annoy him, then went and sat on the chair not directly next to him, but leaving one gap in between. She raised an eyebrow at him, resting her head on a hand, elbow on the arm of the chair. "What're you doing here?" It was common to find an elite in the auditorium. Granted, she was, and she was the top elite girl. Lacey's brown-eyed gaze absently dropped to the sketchbook in his hands. Seemed everyone was drawing this days. She rolled her eyes mentally. Including her roommate. Ugh. Well, she actually realized that only made two...possibly three. So not that many...but more than she usually encountered. Of course, she knew that Jackson could draw. She ignored her phone when it vibrated, attention only for Jackson. She was bored. A friend was welcome amusement.

Jackson concentrated on one of the animals he was currently drawing on the forest ground of his picture. He looked to his side when he felt someone pull out his headphone. No one usually did that. Unless it was Anna or Lacey. He smiled when he saw Lacey. He chuckled at her greeting. "'Ello, love," he said, setting his pencil down. His eyes looked over her slowly, then ventured back to her face. Of course, Jackson didn't like her that way at all. They were good friends. They met not long after he moved here. But she was still a girl with looks, and he was a guy with hormones.
He smiled and shook his head as she ruffled his hair and ran his free hand through it. He hated when people did that, but let Lacey off. Her and Anna were the only two that he didn't care doing it. "I was doing some 'omework. Anna couldn't figure out 'er math." He said, with a chuckle. "Plus, it's quieter in 'ere than the bloody library." He shut off his ipod and shoved it into his pocket. He laid his head back against the chair he was in and turned it to look at Lacey. "So, are you up to anything spectacular or just stalking me?" He asked with a smirk. artist's attire: whoot.music: There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered, Honey. You Just Haven't Figured It Out Yet - Panic! At The Disco counting: 221

Lacey smiled mischievously at Jackson's greeting, brown eyes sparkling with amusement. She could feel his gaze on her, but didn't object, nor really care. They were friends - close friends - and she figured she'd made if very clear at the beginning it would never go further. Still, most of her guy friends seemed to appreciate her looks anyway. Her smile broadened when he ran a hand through is hair, fixing the disarray she'd made it into. She knew Jackson hated people playing with his hair, but, like with most other things, Lacey could get away with it. "Ew," she said with a grimace in response to homework. Anything school related in that sense wasn't her favorite. She was smart, in all honestly, but she just didn't like it.
"True enough," she agreed, glancing around the deserted auditorium. At this time of day, the library would be busy, and all those murmurs could combine to be pandemonium. This would be better...if one had to do homework. "Stalking you," Lace replied offhandedly, making a vague gesture with her hand as if to say 'what can I say?'. She looked back to him with a small smile, brown eyes tainted with amusement. "Actually, I was just in here to pick something up for a friend." She pursed her lips lightly, looking away, before focusing back in on Jackson. "Were you intending on staying holed up here all day, while the sun shines?" Lacey for one loved the warm weather, so she preferred to be out in the sun, versus an air conditioned room.

Jackson laughed at her distaste for homework. He knew she didn't like it. "Better to do it now than later. Don't want to waste my night doing this," he said, nodding to his bag. He smirked and nodded as he took a glance around the auditorium. People in the library just didn't understand how to be quiet, especially when some people were trying to actually do work.
Jackson smirked when she said she was stalking him. "I've always wanted my own personal stalker," he said with a laugh. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." He winked. He hadn't hung out with Lacey for a while and his missed it. They had interesting times together. "Really? Anything in particular?" He asked, wondering if she would actually tell him. "Well I wasn't planning on it. And since I'm done what I wanted to finish, I guess we could 'ead outside. Haven't spent much time out there in a bit." He stood and grabbed his bag. He looked to Lacey and smiled as he held out his arm. "M'lady" He said, with a chuckle. Like he said before, interesting times when they were together. artist's attire: whoot.music: Boys - Britney Spears. [xD totally vintage, baby] counting: 203 =/

Lacey shrugged, rolling her eyes. "Fair enough. Though I seem to end up finishing essays late at night no matter how hard I try not to." Like that night...with Erik...ever the perfect actress when it came to matters like this, she managed to keep the blush off her features. But didn't come completely effortlessly - her lips where lightly pursed. She pulled herself back to the present when Jackson spoke again. She laughed, smiling full on. "Well, wish granted," she teased, laughing again. Her brown eyes sparkling with pure amusement. Jackson was one of those few people who could really, truly, make her laugh. Not her fake, or restrained laugh, but truly happy. She could be herself around Jackson, just like with the rest of the elites. Well, most of them anyway.
"You better not. I've a a boyfriend and an admirer of my own. Can't have my reputation ruined." She was all seriousness, until she smiled. She had many admirers, but she only really acknowledged them as such when she was at least slightly interested as well. "Mmm, she just forgot her cell," Lacey replied, rolling her eyes again. She giggled, but stood, smoothing the skirt of her dress for half a second, grabbed her bag, then eyed Jackson's arm. "What did I do to deserve this?" she asked, as though it were the highest honor in the world. Laughing again, she took his arm, smiling up at him. "So is this where you've been hiding? I haven't seen much of you." She pouted, mock-offended. Though it did annoy her. Jackson, Chrys and now Erik were three of the her closest friends - people she couldn't go without for long.

Jackson smirked at her and nodded. "I've been there. Up at all hours finishing some stupid paper." He smiled and laughed along with her. He liked her laugh, it was cute and he knew that it was real. He was one of the few that could actually get her real laugh out. He liked seeing the real her, not the girl that she was when they were surrounded by people. Everyone put on a fake smile and pretended to be something they weren't. Jackson was used to it. He did it. Very few knew the real Jackson. Occasionally, you could catch glimpses but it was rare.
"Well, we wouldn't want your rep ruined, but at least I'd know my stalker," He said, with a laugh. "Better than not knowing who it was. Don't you think? Besides, I wouldn't complain if it was you." He joked. "Oh. I hate forgetting my cell phone anywhere. It bugs me if I don't have it." He said, patting his pocket where his phone sat. He couldn't stand it if he didn't have it and just took his sister's. He smiled when he asked about his arm. "Just being my normal self, love. You know that." He shrugged. "I've been around. But yeah, mostly in here. I can concentrate more on drawing more in here." He looked at her and nudged her playfully. "I did miss you." He said, with a smile. artist's attire: whoot.music: I Caught Myself - Paramore counting: 236

Lacey smiled easily. "Fair enough - you do know your stalker." Her brown eyes were sparkling as she toyed with a strand of hair. She laughed briefly at his teasing. She was never one to forwardly pursue a boy. She was a bit more underhanded. She'd flirt and tease just enough to make her crush fall head over for heels for her, and then she'd be the one pursued, which was how she preferred it. It was a position of power; more appropriate for her social status. She laughed, rolling her eyes, but still smiling. "True - it is you," she agreed with another laugh. She completely ignored her own phone when it vibrated, not caring about whoever was trying to get in touch with her. If it was Erik or Chrys, she could come up with an excuse if need be. If it was anyone else, they could wait for sure.
Lacey changed her hold on him to grab his hand, twirling on a heel to walk half backwards. She tugged on his hand. "Well c'mon then. You've been inside for too long. You've got enjoy the warmth while you can." Her brown eyes were bright, child-like in their request. Not that she really expected to be refused. He'd already been walking with her. And plus: Lacey never was refused anything. She pushed out the door into the streaming sunlight. It was a pleasant seventy-five or so degrees, with a just a very gentle warm breeze. There weren't any clouds in the sky, and students were stretched out on the grass, studying, reading, or just relaxing as they soaked up the sunshine. Lacey's brown hair changed sightly with the sun, the red-brown, natural highlights standing out a bit more. Her brown eyes lightened when they caught the sun. And it flushed her cheeks.
