Normal the itchy burning feeling that tingled under his skin would of kicked in the next hour, but it had come early this time sending Alden's brain in a frenzy. Sitting in his usual back of the room seat in his math class, Alden twitched and scratched at his arms, trying to find some relief of the itchy sensation that was working its way slowly up his arms. With a nervous glance at the clock he peer at the time from behind his soft hazel eyes. He still had thirty minutes of class left. 'I can do this' he thought to himself, his tongue pressing against his lip ring making it move nervously against the right-side of his lip. He watched the clock, the second hand seeming to move slower and slower. He couldn't bare it anymore. He shot up quickly, the chain around his neck clinking together as he nervously approached the front. "Excuse me sir, May I use the restroom?" He said politely. He was only nice to some teachers, and hardly anyone else except his dealer. The teacher sighed hesitantly then tossed him the pass. Alden caught it quickly and snapped out of the room in a frenzy.
Alden made his way down the first two hallways, passing the scents of highly disinfected restrooms. The smell curled to his nose making his skin twitched more. Before he knew it he was in-front of his beat up, blue locker door. The paint was chipping in places and dents were all over it from Alden's anger spazzes. He twitched again, jerking open the locker door and rummaging through the contents. He itched at his skin every now and then till he found the small medicine bottle stuck inside his bag. It read 'Advil" on the front, but looks could be deciving. He popped open the bottle, taking three of the Oxycotton tablets out. He screwed back the bottle and tossed it in the locker, but not before tossing the pills in his mouth and swallowing them dry. He closed the locked and placed his back to it. He closed his eyes, biting his lip softly as he slid down the metal door, his knees hugging to his chest softly.

Jackson adjusted his messenger bag over his should as he walked through the halls. Cell phone out and texting, he rolled his eyes. 'Bloody girl.' He ran his fingers through his messy brown hair, not making it any better, and continued down the hall. He wasn't going anywhere spectacular, just felt like wandering. Yeah, he was normally a good kid and didn't skip class, but Anna rubbed off on him. What can you say? You spend so much time with your twin, you pick little things up, like skipping class. He strolled to his locker and opened it, switching his books for his later classes. Sticking his sketch book into the locker, her grabbed his ipod and shoved it into his pocket.
As he started back down the hall, his phone buzzed in his hand. 'Anna, why must you call me?' He thought as he answered it. "What? ... Yeah I finished it ... You can get it at lunch ... Bell, that you can get on your own ... Then 'ave Cam do it ... Yeah, yeah ... Bye, Bell." He shook his head and glanced down at the floor. As he came to a set of lockers, he noticed someone sitting on the floor. As he got closer, he recognized him. Alden. Jackson stopped near him and looked down at him. "Hey Alden. Feeling better?" Jackson knew that he was only like this after he took what ever he had on him. He wondered if there was anyone in the school that didn't pop a pill or smoke something. Shrugging off the thought, he looked back down to the boy on the floor.

Alden's eyes flew open, his pupils now smaller than normal from the drug working through his system. He first heard the sound of footsteps walking through the halls. His heart sped up, hoping it wasn't the principal or another one of those teacher's assistants. He panted a bit as he ran a hand through his shaggy black hair, his mind racing a billion times faster than his body making his perception off a little bit thanks to the drugs. He was already working up quite a back story as the foot steps seemed to grow louder, though they were still the same sound outside his perception. He gave a nod to himself biting his lip ring, moving it in the same nervous pattern that he had done in the classroom. He watched the corner for the next sign of the figure, the suspense making his heart beat faster and faster. All of his thoughts and strong heart beats soon vanished almost instantly as Jackson rounded the corner. He gave a soft sigh of relief and looked at the ground, tucking his head between his legs and chuckling.
His head rose back up as he looked up at him. His speech seemed to move faster than his lips, and Alden had to shake his head to get his perception back into its lock, but we all know that won't last long at all. 'Y-yeah I'm better now." He told Jackson with a soft smile. Being high made him nice most of the time. That was until he came off it and itched for the next dose. He looked around the hallway, the silence making him a little nervous once again. he turned his head back to him and coughed softly. "How did you get out of class?" The answer was obvious, but Alden still asked, Jackson was a good student, one of the top. He reminded Alden a lot of what he use to be, well that was until what happened. Which reminded him instantly. He reached over causally and pulled down the sleeve of his long sleeve t-shirt, covering up the brusied marks of his father's fingers where he had clutched him the other night. If he had noticed, he'd just say it was another fight.

Jackson smiled back when Alden said he was better. Of course he was. What he had was probably strong. He never went weak when it came to drugs. Jackson on the other hand, did. Jackson shrugged at his question. "Never went. Didn't feel like going." He said, with a small chuckle. "Plus, Anna's in most of my classes, so I'll just get the work from 'er later." Him and Anna made sure they were in the same classes. They always were and always will be. They had fun with it when they were younger and their hair was the same length. Constantly confusing their elementary school teachers. Jackson noticed him pull his sleeve down and saw some bruises. Feeling it wasn't his place, Jack didn't open his mouth.
"So, are you just gonna hang out on the hallway floor, high until it passes?" He asked with a smile. Knowing one of the teachers or principal was bound to come down the hall at some point, he thought it be best to relocate his currently high friend. He looked around the hall real quick, then down at Alden. "Why don't we go somewhere other than the hall, hmm? That way we don't get slapped on the wrist and sent to the big bad principal."

Alden couldn't help but laugh at Jackson's statement. Jackson? Skipping Classes? Wow it was the end of the world for sure. He gave a sigh and leaned his head back against the locker, The door gave a soft shake as his hard head tapped it lightly. His hazel eye disappeared behind the soft pale eyelids that hid him from the world. There he sat, at peace. Like nothing in the world could ever harm him or touch him at all. Like he was free to roam the Earth as he pleased, and no one was able to stop him. Not one bit. But, it did touch him as soon as Jackson's voice broke through the mental black in Alden's mind. He shook his head, his shaggy black hair swirling a bit before it laid down in front of his eyes. "Good Idea." He said softly, "I could use a smoke."
He started to get up, his Vans not catching much traction due tot he worn out bottom. It took him a minuted, but he finally got up and on his feet again. He dusted off his hoodie and looked over at Jackson. "Where to Smarty?" He chuckled a bit a soft smirk crossing his face. His tongue moved his lip ring frantically on his lip as he was hitting the top of his high.

Jackson watched as he stood and thought it over. He ran his hand through his hair and shrugged. "Anywhere is probably than in here. Less chance of getting in trouble." He said with a smirk. He thought about where they could possibly go outside. "Relax on the bleachers at the football field?" he suggested. He usually went there with Anna when they skipped class together and would tease Cameron as he practiced. It was pretty much a good place to go and do whatever the hell you wanted. He had gone to them many times to drink or smoke. He didn't care, he always caught up with classes later and he was a good student. The teachers never asked question, much to Jackson's liking. He probably have to come up with some stupid story, which he was never good at. That's why he made sure Anna was with him. Ever since they were little, she could always come up with the perfect story to keep them out of trouble. Being a twin did have its upsides.
He fixed his bag and started to the doors heading outside. He pulled out a bottle of water and took a swig of it, sticking it back into his bag after. He sighed in annoyance as his phone buzzed twice. He pulled it out to read the message and quickly replied back. "Blasted girl. Giving me a bloody headache," he muttered. He turned to Alden. "So what class are you now skipping out on?" he asked curiously. He pushed the doors open and was soon squinting as he stepped outside with Alden. He pulled out his sunglasses from his pocket and put them on.

Alden chuckled hazily a bit as he gave a slight nod of approval. "I agree. The last thing I need is another trip to the office." He said as he stuck his hands in his coat pockets, fondling his phone a little bit as he took the first steps on his journey with Jackson to where ever it was they were going. He walked along side Jackson, his heart still beating in different strokes due to the pills he had swallowed just a few minutes ago. He gave a soft nod at the place Jackson had proposed. "Good enough for me!", but anything was good for Alden. Anything that didn't have to due with his dad was the best thing in the world. No one knew yet about him and his dad's "relationship" that they shared, and Alden planned to keep it that way no matter what. He once had a confrontation with the councilor at his old school cause one of the boys saw the marks in the bathroom. When the call was made to his dad and all the accusations were denied, he didn't just beat him that night. He tossed him into hell and back several times.
The flashbacks sent shivers down his spine as they step out the double doors and into the blinding sunlight. Alden dug around in his pockets for his sunglasses, but all he found was his yellow lighter and a pack of cigarettes. He threw his hand up over his eyes to block the sun as Jackson and him kept walking to the bleachers. He heard the phone buzz followed by the words of annoyance, then the question asked to him. "Math." He said softly as they kept walking, his footsteps unknowingly in step with his counterpart. "I can't stand that class one bit. For some reason it's like my kryptonite."

"Yeah, don't need a trip down there." Jackson said, as they strolled across the grounds. He pulled out his cigarettes and lits one up. He took a drag from it and sighed as he walked. He smirked. "Math, yeah. Not everyone's best subject I suppose. Did my sister's 'omework earlier." He thought it over in his head and shook his thoughts. Whatever. So he did his sister's homework, she did his. It's what family does. Or maybe it was just him and Anna.
He hopped up onto the bleachers and tossed his bag down as he sat. He leaned back on his elbows and took another drag, holding in the smoke for a moment before letting it out. He ran his fingers through his hair, combing it back. He glanced over to Alden and flicked off the ash from his cigarette. "What 'ave you been up to? 'Aven't seen you around very much." He asked curiously. He had wondered why his friend wasn't around much. He usually saw him around the halls when the bell rang, but he hadn't seen him at all. He just hope that he wasn't nosing into something that he shouldn't. Jackson was never nosy, he just tended to get curious.
